FULL World Cup Predictions and Best Bets

Hello Everyone!,

With the World Cup only 6 Days away, i decided to take a shot at fully breaking down the World cup for anyone interested in making some money from your bookie or Pool. Lets Get Started! (all Lines are as of Friday afternoon on 5Dimes)

Group A

This is a very weak group headlined by Uruguay and dragged down by Saudi Arabia. now although the Saudis can pull a few surprises i fully expect them to finish 4th in this group. The real question in Value is will Uruguay completely dominate it? They will! and at only -135 VERY worth putting some money on. Love this pick! Another great value play is Russia not to advance at +235. They are the worst ranked side in the tourney and have not won a game since October. I fully expect this trend to continue. Result: Uruguay/Egypt

Group B

A much more competitive group than at first glance, Group B offers little value in group winner as Spain is going off at -210. thats simply too much to put on a single bet for me but if you got it id drop it on them. I myself will be putting it in a Parlay with the other obvious group winners. On to the ABSOLUTE VALUE of the tourney. Morocco. Theyre unbeaten in a year and have defeated the likes of Serbia, Tunisia, South Korea, Egypt, and Nigeria (all in the WC) and Slovakia a very good side who just missed out. They also boast a roster of mostly European born players who have rubbed elbows with players from powerhouses like Spain and France since they were kids. Portugal on the other hand have finished 3rd in the last 2 major tournaments to such powerhouses as Iceland, Hungary, and The US. (can you hear the sarcasm?) I love the double down of Morocco to advance and Portugal not to advance both at +350 and Morocco over 2.5 pts

Result: Spain/Morocco

Group C

France leads this group as the obvious pick at -355. again throwing that into the parlay. the Value Bet is Peru advancing +165 and over 3.5 pts. Theyre unbeaten in over a year as well. Defeating the likes of Iceland, Croatia, Suadis, Uruguay, and drawing Argentina twice. Add to it that Denmark had the softest group in Euro Qualifying and this has all the makings of an upset. Result: France/Peru

Group D

Argentina leads this group as the favorites at -165 and before a few weeks ago id be reluctant to take it. That being said Croatia has looked like shit and i cant see Iceland or Nigeria winning this so Argentina is my pick here to win it. The only other value i see is fading Croatia +180 to not advance. This is the tournaments Group of death after all. 

Result: Argentina/Nigeria or Iceland  

Group E

Brazil Dominates. END OF STORY. Theyre -400 throw it in the parlay. Costa Rica doesnt pull off the miracle of 4 years ago and Serbia lacks the depth to survive Brazil and the Swiss. Swiss advance +105 and over 3.5 pts -130

Result: Braizil Bloodbath/Swiss 1-0 and 2-0 Serbia and CR

Group F

Germany look terrible. Easy as that. coming in at -305 Im VERY reluctant to put anything on them. but they most likely win this group do to the weakness of it. Buyer beware! However there is tons of value in little ol Sweden, Who boast a lineup full of players in the top 6 leagues (17) vs Mexicos lineup (8 inthe top 6 and the rest MLS and Liga MX) AND beat the likes of France, Netherlands and Italy over 2 legs just to get here. CONCACAF on the other hand is dogshit and in the state of rebuild. Sweden advance at +120 and over 3.5 pts at -140. South Korea gets fucked for 0 and loves every minute of it. 

Result: Germany/Sweden

Group G

Dont get cute. Belgium and England most likely in that order. Belgium to win -135

Result: Belgium/England

Group H

The most unpredictable group of the lot, Group H is the definition of Shit show, and in shit shows money can definitely be made. Colombia has no idea who they are. they beat France and Tied Australia. They can literally beat or lose to anyone. same with Poland. Thats why im going with the somewhat reliable Senegal (no losses in qualifying and only lost to Croatia after pulling  to advance at +120 and over 3.5 pts at -110. Result: Colombia?/Senegal

Knockouts

Assuming Im mostly correct I see value in a few plays. Uruguay to reach Quarters +160. They should be taking on Morocco at +1050 to reach Quarters. Bet accordingly. Its free after all ;)

France -205 to reach quarters (i know i said -205 is too rich. fuck you. Theyre playing Nigeria/Iceland/Croatia ill take that chance)

Brazil -225 (same as above but they play Sweden or Mexico)

Peru +850 to make quarters (They'll be facing Argentina or possibly the other 3 from the French bet. a team they've tied 2x in the last year. Penalties go to anyone or a teams they've already beaten. ill take my chances)

Colombia +190 if everything holds they face England. A country known for shitting the bed in the KO round like vs Iceland in the Euros orrrr they play Belgium a country known for shitting the bed like vs Wales in the Euros and almost vs The US (Thank you based Timmy, Fuck you Wondo)

Spain to make Semis +130

France to make Semis +125

Brazil +105 to make Semis (see above I love this team)

Brazil +225 to make finals

Brazil +440 to win

Edit: Totally forgot top Goalscorer Picks. these are guys to keep an eye on and maybe risk half a unit each on.
Gabriel Jesus-Brazil 16:1 odds. literally any of the Brazilians can be here but Neymar likes assisting to Jesus/Firmino. with the later coming off the bench Im going with the starter on a team that should win it all or at least make the final.

Luis Suarez-Uruguay 25:1. this is purely based on how shit their group is and their possible rd of 16 vs Morocco or Portugal. Suarez could easily put up 6-7 by the time Uruguay eventually go out

Mo Salah 40:1. same as above. Bad Group and hes Egypt's only chance of going through and setting up the rematch with Ramos. if thats doing to happen it will be behind 5 or so of his goals

Olivier Giroud 40:1. Plays up front next to Greizman who is 12:1. also finished Runner up to his teammate at Euro 16 with 3 Goals scored.

James Rodriguez. 65:1 Last editions winner. why not?
