Full Soccer/Football League Predictions
Hello Everyone!
After going 12-14 on my predictions for the world cup (a lot of dogs to be fair) Im here for some redemption on League Futures! I will be updating this at least once a month as most books fix their futures during the week and the transfer window still has 2 weeks in it. These are just certain bets that stick out to me right now. I've also done some line shopping instead of just using 5dimes like last time, and Bovada is leading in most plus they allow you to parlay futures together which we will do with the easier ones below:
PSG-1000 (-900 5dimes no parlay)
Bayern Munich-800 (-600 at 5 dimes)
Juventus-225 (will also be single betting)
Celtic-1000
This combined in a Parlay pays just under even money and is about the closest thing to a lock there is. 5 Units. (+5u)
Now on to some riskier Small league plays that i feel pretty confident about (note: I will be putting 0.5-1 Unit on any bets higher than +200 and 2-3 Units on bets under that)
England League 1: Sunderland +350. They were in the Premier League 2 years ago and have spent a considerable amount of money to ensure getting back up to the championship. I also will take them to go up +110 (-4u)
Netherlands Eredivisie: Ajax +110. This is a 2-3 team race honestly but Ajax have somehow managed to keep most of their team together despite outside pressure to sell and have added 2 former Premier league players in Blind and Tadic. They should cruise to a 34th league title. (+3u)
Germany Bundes 2: Hamburger SV +275 another 2-3 team race I see Hamburg jumping right back into the Bundesliga after being relegated for the first time ever. (-1u)
England Championship: this is by far one of the best places to make money. every team to win is +600 or better which means we can put in 5 bets and still make money. Im taking Stoke +600, West Brom+800, Leeds +1100, Sheffield United +2200 and Wigan +3300. Ill also Double down on these teams to be promoted @ +200, +250, +350, +800, +1000. Update: MAJOR value in Sheffield United to go up. theyre off to an 0-2 start but were the better side in both as well as adding Liverpool bench and Welsh starter Ben Woodburn on loan. i put in a .5u hedge as they are currently +1000 to be Promoted. (+6.5u)
Now on to the Main Events. EPL, La Liga, and the Champions League. (I don't do Europa til after the CL Group stages)
English Premier League:
Obvious favorites Man City enter the season at -150. This is insane for easily the hardest league to repeat in (hasn't happened in a decade) and I don't expect it to happen again do to them focusing on finally getting the CL. This leaves us a lot of play by fading them as 2nd is Liverpool +400, United +750, and Chelsea +1200 assuming they hold on to Hazard, Willian, and Cotouis all have great value. I wouldn't look further than this as Spurs and Arsenal are still lacking in Defense and/or Goalkeeping. (-3u)
Top Goal Scorer: With the amount of attempts they get its almost impossible not to just take Kane +300 and Salah +500 (5dimes) and Abameyang +700 (dead heat +5u)
Top 4/6/10: only 3 teams stick out to me here. Arsenal top 4 +200 and Wolves top 6 +1000 and top 10 +110 and Newcastle top 10 +200 (0u)
Top 2 exact finish: the 3 teams i picked above and city finishing 2nd pay +750 +1200 and +2200.(this is a suckers bet but degen away if you got it)
Relegation: Huddersfield to finish rock bottom +300, Brighton +185 to go down. (0u)
Spain La Liga:
Im sure youre tired of reading this shit by now so I'll be brief here. Barca-140 and RM+135 have absolutely no value when either can easily win the league over the other. Thats why Im only left with one insanely underrated team in Atletico Madrid +1400. They kept their entire core group of players the walked through the Europa League including arguably the best coach, GK, defenders and frontline in Europe. Add to that that they just signed world class midfielder Thomas Lemar and its not out of the question that they can pull it off. Most the team has done it already in Spain and Lemar has experience doing it knocking off PSG in France. Theyre also +200 to finish above Real in pts if you like that better.(-1u)
Top 6/10 finish: Simple. Girona aka Man City Jr. +550 and -120 (free money) (-4u)
Champions League:
I have noooooo idea as of right now. theres still 70+ teams in it, but the obvious Value picks would again be Liverpool +1200, Atletico +1400 with City +600 and Juventus +700 hard to ignore. (+3u)
